In the United States Mint has showed the availability as per the date, fractional weight 2010 American Gold Eagle bullion coins. Certified purchasers may start placing there orders for the coins from the June 10, 2010. Orders will be subjected as per the standard allocation process.

Other bullion coins offered by the US Mint, only the authorized purchasers can order the coins directly through the network. The authorized purchasers can resell the coins to other bullion dealers, coin dealers, and for the public, as it is going to well as it is going to make easy a two way market for the coins.
In the year 2010 fractional Gold Eagles are available in, one-quarter ounce, one-half ounce and one-tenth ounce sizes. Every coin has its own weight in gold and carries a unusual legal tender face value.

Fractional weight American Gold Eagles offers to the United States Mint every year since 1986. From the last year, release of the coins was delayed until December 3, 2009.Only after the delay of a24 hrs, sales of 56,000 one-half ounce coins, 58,000 one-quarter ounce coins, and 260,000 one-tenth ounce coins was recorded. This was enough to reduce the majority of the available inventory.

In The remaining inventory of 2009 fractional Gold Eagles had offered in the later months and sold by the end of the year (December 2009). The final recorded sales of the following roughly two weeks of availability were 110,000 one-half ounce coins, 110,000 one-quarter ounce coins, and 270,000 one-tenth ounce coins.
